Janja Popovic studied Architectural Engineering at Saints Cyril & Methodius University in Skopje, where she graduated in May 2013. After gaining 4 years of experience practicing as an Architect in Macedonia, she pursued further specialization by completing a Masters degree in Energy-efficient-design in 2019.
During her practice in Macedonia, she was involved in the design and execution of both public and private projects of varying scale, ranging from small private residences to larger commercial and urban projects.
After completion of her Masters Degree and gaining 6 years of experience in private practice in Macedonia, she moved to Malta in search of new challenges and experiences joining Bencini & Associates in 2019.
During her years with Bencini & Associates Janja has been involved in a wide range of projects, where she has proved to be a key player particularly with regards to architectural design and detailing, gaining further experience in both large and small scale projects. Janja has a creative and practical architectural approach, with a strong attention to context and understanding of the client’s needs and expectations.
